The Five Suppers | Rightly Dividing with David Reid

A scriptural analysis distinguishing five significant suppers in the Scriptures. This sermon examines five distinct suppers found in Scripture, distinguishing their significance, timing, and participants. Beginning in Revelation 19, where two different suppers appear in the same chapter, we work through each supper systematically to show that they are not interchangeable events. The five suppers span from the historical Last Supper before the cross, to the ongoing memorial of the Lord's Supper, to the future events of the Supper of the Great God and the Marriage Supper of the Lamb, and finally to the Parable of the Great Supper. Together, these five suppers form a broad biblical narrative covering redemption, memorial, judgment, eternal joy, and the tragedy of unbelief.
